Portfolio

This portfolio details the processes and results behind a curated selection
of projects that I have worked on.

Designing the Information Architecture of a Website

A good IA ensures that digital information environments are well-organised, well-labelled and easy for users to navigate.

In this project, I outline the process of designing an Information Architecture, from capturing IA requirements to evaluating the IA with users.

Using the Interaction-Design Process to Design a VR App

The Interaction Design (IxD) process is used by designers to create user-centred solutions for products and services that meet users’ needs.

The process involves conducting User Research, Data Analysis, defining a problem statement, and creating conceptual and detailed designs.

Conducting a Usability Test on a Charity’s Website

Usability evaluation is central to effective interaction design and the creation of positive user experiences.

This project involved recruiting participants to collect data, before analysing the data to derive actionable solutions to improve the usability and UX of the Diabetes UK website.

Performing a WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Audit

Designing for a broad range of users that are not normally considered during the design of interactive systems is an increasingly important issue.

In this project, I used a combination of semi-automated and manual testing to ensure that issues were expertly validated and contextually assessed.
